1. Controller Information

1.1 The data controller responsible for personal data processed through the k1ga Platform is the operator of k1ga.org ("k1ga", "we", "us", "our"). k1ga operates as an online casino and sportsbook platform serving Pakistani players and other users worldwide.

4.1 Contractual necessity. The majority of data processing by k1ga is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and k1ga — specifically the Terms & Conditions you accept at registration. This includes account creation, payment processing, game delivery, and customer support.

4.2 Legal obligation. Identity verification, age checks, and fraud monitoring are conducted to satisfy legal and regulatory obligations applicable to k1ga as an online gaming operator.

4.3 Legitimate interests. Technical data collection for platform security, fraud detection, and service improvement is conducted on the basis of k1ga's legitimate interests, balanced against Players' privacy rights.

6.3 Transaction records (amounts, dates, methods, references) are retained for the periods specified in Section 8, as they form part of the financial record-keeping obligations k1ga is subject to.

7. Cookies & Tracking

7.1 k1ga uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies — necessary for login sessions, account authentication, and core Platform functionality. These cannot be disabled without breaking Platform access;

7.2 k1ga does not use third-party advertising cookies or share cookie data with advertising networks.

8.1 k1ga retains personal data for as long as your Account is active and for a period thereafter as required by applicable gaming regulations and financial record-keeping obligations. In practice, this means account and transaction data is typically retained for a minimum of five years following account closure.

8.2 KYC documentation is retained for the period required by the applicable regulatory framework under which k1ga operates, which is generally a minimum of five years from the date of verification.

8.3 Communications data (support transcripts, emails) is retained for a minimum of two years. Data associated with fraud investigations is retained for as long as necessary for the investigation and any resulting legal proceedings.

8.4 Upon expiry of applicable retention periods, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

9. Data Security

9.1 k1ga implements industry-standard technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest, access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only, and regular security audits.

9.2 Notwithstanding these measures, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your k1ga login credentials and for notifying k1ga immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your Account.

9.3 In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in risk to your rights, k1ga will notify affected Players and relevant authorities as required under applicable law.
